Join me for an afternoon of Block Printing on Sunday, December 10th, from 3 pm to 6 pm at The Eddy. Come by yourself and meet new friends, or come with a loved one and make it a date.
Using the ancient art of Block Printing, which includes, drawing, carving, inking, and printing, let’s gather and make something that did not exist before today.
Take home your own hand-carved stamp and printed tote. Your ticket includes 3 hours of instruction plus all printmaking materials.
Rules!
Rule of Preparation: Bring a 4x6 inch drawing or printed design. I will assist you in transferring your image to your block. If you have any questions at all please email me at tahodges@gmail.com
Rule of Serendipity: Embrace accidents and unexpected outcomes. Sometimes, the unplanned can lead to the most creative results.
Rule of Freedom: Above all, Let go of perfectionism and enjoy the process of printmaking. There are no strict rules, only creative exploration.
