Supply List

  • Linoleum Blocks

The most affordable blocks I’ve been able to find are on Amazon. I believe in supporting your local art supply store whenever you can! If you decide to go with amazon I’ve linked to the blocks I often use in workshops below.

  • Speedball Linoleum Carvers

These are what I use in workshops. Go with Speedball Lino Set No. 1 - This set contains a Speedball handle with 5 cutters, styles 1, 2, 3, 5, and 6. The end of the handle twists off for convenient storage of cutters inside. If you want to get fancy- check out Flexcut tools. you can sharpen them yourslef and use them to carve wood as well.

  • Brayers

A brayer is what rolls ink onto your plate and block. Speedball makes great ones of varying sizes. I generally use a 4 inch brayer, but it can be nice to have a smaller or larger depending on what size canvas you’re working with.
